Sorry people, I’m not going to pretend like it’s cool enough to start donning boots and sweaters. In San Diego, now is the hottest our weather has been all year. We won’t be ready for that fall uniform until late October at the earliest! However, I CAN get behind a transition period that allows me to “Fall into Fall” with a more rich color palette and heavier textures. During this late summer transition period, Target is nailing it with the release of several awesome 2-piece combos in burgundies, smoky teals and mustards, giving us slinky velvet pieces, both crushed and smooth, and classic wrap dresses that can go from work to the bar. Here are a few of my favorites that have appeared like the graceful yet striking changing of the leaves. Get them before it’s too cold to wear them!
