If you’ve ever been to Old Town San Diego, you know how cute the buildings are, how delicious the Mexican Food is, and how abundant the margaritas are. However, not many people know that there is the sweetest little gem of a wine tasting room, tucked back in the corner of Fiesta de Reyes. Rose’s Tasting Room features all local selections of wine and beer, allows for small tastings or full glasses, and even bottles to take home.

I first discovered Rose’s Tasting Room about 6 years ago while looking for cute little day-date ideas with my then “new boyfriend”. I had my very first Rosé there, the most delicious Habanero spiced pink wine, and I was in love!

We’ve been to Rose’s several times since, with friends and family. The tasting room itself is quaint, cozy, and sunlit, with cute little wine-themed knick-knacks for purchase lining the walls.
